How to Fill Out a BlueCard
Ask your Scoutmaster for a Blue Card (say “Mr. Scoutmaster, may I please…”), If he agrees that you’re ready to work on that Merit Badge, he signs and dates the card.
You fill out your Name, Address, check Boy Scout box, write Troop and 97, write Los Amigos for the District and Orange County for the Council.
Scouts – Print LEGIBLY in INK. Fill out your parts ahead of time.
Ask the counselor for his name and address before you turn your card in to him, so all he has to do is date and sign. If at summer camp, the camp name is sufficient for his/her address.
When you get the card back, make sure he has signed and dated twice, and has removed his section (Counselor’s Record).
Turn the other two sections in to the Advancements Chairman or the Scoutmaster. You will get the Applicant Record back at the next Court of Honor.
Counselors - Please fill out you areas completely. Advancements does not have to accept incomplete blue cards from either the scout or the counselor.
