Scout Spirit
Introduction
Scout Spirit refers to the effort you make to live up to the ideals of Scouting. The Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto, Scout Slogan, and the Outdoor Code serve as everyday guidelines for a good life. The Scout Oath and Law are the foundations of Scouting. The words are simple, but the standards they set for you are high. Use the Oath and Law to guide your actions when you are alone, and as a member of your family, community, and nation.

For older Scouts (First Class rank and above), Scout Spirit also means you:

• Consistently attend Patrol Leader Council meetings if you are a patrol leader, assistant patrol leader, or assistant senior patrol leader.
